I have recently just finished a Oval Master 29 for my self. I have built several for customers but never got to keep one for my self. This time I built it with a self righting system installed. In the past I did not like the self righting system with Nimh batteries , But with the Lipo cells and One pack no parallel the balance is much better. This is my new boat!
The business end!
Inside the boat.

That looks great Randy! Is that a SuperV motor?
BTW I just received the OM 26 today by Fedex and everything looks fine!
Do you sell water cooling Jackets that would fit my mega 22-20-2?
As far as using a 4S pack, should I use a single 4S or twin 2S lipos?
Thanks again for the great service! _________________ jollyroger |

Sorry I do not have the cooling Jackets for the Mega motor.
The motor in the OM29 is the UL-1 for the LSO class. I like the saddle pack if the class is allowed to run 2P then I would run 4S2P. if not I would run two 2S1P packs in serries. Ballance is everything in the OM's _________________ Randy

hey Randy; What size of ESC are you using and what prop do you recomend? I have a similar project I hope to get working on.
I'm finding out that time IS more valuable than money.
Good luck at the Nats.

I am running a UL1 ESC and a 442 prop on 4S 1P.
I had some good racing with my friends, Did a little whiping and a little getting whiped on great fun.
The BBY score:
News flash!!!Just back from the NAMBA FE Nationals, I got a first in P sport Hydro with the 34 inch War Eagle, second in P hydro with the new Spec Hydro running a 1515 1Y and a third in Q Sport Hydro with the 36WE. Congrats to my team mate Bill Oxidean who won a first in N1 Mono and a third in P OPC with the new Fiberglass Hooters. Thanks to my good friend Dave Newland winning the first looser place (2nd) in LSO with the CF Patriot 29. _________________ Randy

At the Nationals I discovered that the boat needed tie downs on the batteries and the speed control I used Velcro straps as shown in picture.
