Monday 3/14/10 was a normal day of nothing but people coming and going, phone calls and emails. no real work building boats done.
Tuesday I layed up a micro Scat Cat and built wing molds for the Z-27. I also preped (sandes seams) for the CF Lift Master SAW boat for
Today is going good so far Joined Norvell's hull and the next thing to do is join Paul F sponsons. and if all goes well start on the Nitro Z-27
I ended up building a hardware set for my friend Butch. he has been waiting on brackets for three weeks. Did not get to the sponsons nor the Z-27 molds on wed 3/16/10 _________________ Randy

While getting settled back in to work again I stumbled on a cool way to cap your connectors while setting them up for parallel or sceries setups. I added a little shrink warp to the neg side of the connectors and cut it with a Exacto knife.
I realized that it could be put back on if stretched a little with needle nose pliers. It is alos nice to have the extra shrink a little long to have a good handle on the cap.
I am able to link the batteries in series like so. I will post more as the build goes.

I have been on a 3 day trip to get a car for my son. It was a 1971 Impala drop top with 130,000 miles we went up to Seattle Sunday on a plane. then rented a PT cruiser drove out and looked at the car. Had lunch to digest what we saw and made a offer that was excepted and drove to Portland Ore. that night. Then drove to Arebuckel CA. by 10;00pm We had charging trouble on the last leg of the trip. I thought it was a starter, two battery's later we made it home by 5;00PM on Tuesday night. Whew what a trip! _________________ Randy

Sorry for the down time guys, this is the note from the web master in charge of this part of my site.
Randy, it looks like the I.P. changed on the cable modem I have the website on. I had to update the domain I.P. Record. It will take up to a day for the DNS changes to take affect across the internet.
For you tech heads this will be something you all understand, for the rest of us we can just say OK! _________________ Randy

I would like to say to am finishing another Lift Master SAW boat but as it seems to be the times I have one in process it is a full build and another behind it. I have several boats that are full builds it is good and bad. The good I like building them becuse I am able to refine the builds and make a better boat. The bad...... It takes a lot of time to build 10 or 15 different RTR boats at one time. Hear is 9 of the builds getting close to done.
a few shots of the work I am into.
New N2 rigger
This is a boat I am in the process of painting I am laying out the graphics to be painted over and I will show more of the steps later.
This is ware I do most of my graphic work at home.

Well I am really in the the middle of several but the one's that I am working now need a little showing. This one I started in December. I have been thinking about a new strut/rudder bracket and this is some of the last three days of work on them too.
More pictures as I finish

This is the picture of the three hulls I am working on the most important are the two bigger ones. John and Norvell Have both waited since Christmas for there boats while I was spending way too much time on everything else. Thank you guys for your patience. No matter how much I want to finish my little rigger it can wait. I have been on it for 1.5 years. I have untill november to get it done. Both of these will be done in the next two weeks.
