Hi Randy, the weather back here in Northern Michigan for the last two weeks has been absolutely fantastic. Temps as high as 65* and the ice on the lakes(yes we have Ice) has finally melted away.
I do have a problem with the motor mount and that it does not fit my Mega motor: The holes for the mount screws do not line yo with the threaded holes in the motor front casing and that also means the motor is offset from the center of the mount. I know I can lengthen one or both holes with a small needle file if I have to. Any other suggestions?
I forgot in our phone conversation what weight fiberglass to use on the inside of my OM 26. Would 1 oz. be enough?
What's the best way to hook up the water cooling to both the motor and the esc?
I'm finally getting started on the boat since it looks like we got an early spring. I wonder what the Mid Michigan Electrics are doing today? Probably practicing!!
cheers John Z
